I know I seem crazy
Betting on my dream
Hoping with faith on fate to carry me through
But if you were me
Felt the passion I feel
Lived the life I’ve had
You’d start to wonder what else might be real


Never said I was the best
I’ve been knocked down before
No shame in saying I’ve once failed a test
That practice is never wasted
And yeah I love success
But I learn from my mistakes more
So when I do good and it goes great

I embrace that moment
First mistakes lead to second successes
And when I finally achieve
I know I’ve done something great
It’s all about what you believe


All I said was that I’m in this
This dream race is my mine
I’m going to encounter opposition
I’ll have adversity too
Some might even be my competition


If ever I’m met with resistance
I smile
Using that determination as persistence
And one day you’ll remember what I was
Wonder how I got to my place
Which path did I find or choose
But life is only what you make it
It doesn’t matter which direction you use
